Tirailleurs Marocains

The tirailleurs marocains were an infantry sub-unit of the French Army of Africa. It was established in 1915, consisting primarily of Moroccan recruits, and it existed until Moroccan independence. In the Second World War, the tirailleurs marocains played a decisive role in the liberation of Corsica from the German and Italian occupation, among other things.
