Weißes Pferd im Bac Ma Tempel

The picture shows the figure of a white horse in the Bach-Ma Temple in Hanoi, Vietnam. In Daoism (also: Taoism), it belongs to the historical and mythical figures of popular religion. According to this tradition, the white horse Bach-Ma once flew into the sky and showed Hanoi’s founder the best place to build the city.
