This woodcut by Hans Weiditz contains no explicit references to astronomy. The laboratory appears as a jumbled workspace around which a multitude of vessels and tools are strewn. The alchemist goes to work at a fireplace with his bellows, test tube and similar instruments in a manner which remains vague.
