The Y.M.C.A. motor kitchen in France

This poster by the artist Edgar Wright shows a truck fitted out as a YMCA canteen near the battlefields of the First World War. While smoke from the battles in the distance is rising, soldiers have gathered around the "motor kitchen" to fetch food and drinks. By setting up food trucks such as this the YMCA helped secure the food supply for soldiers at the frontline.
