The "Sphaera Civitatis" illustrates the world view during the time of Queen Elizabeth I’s (1533–1603) reign. It depicts her above a geocentric universe, the different planets representing Majesty, Prudence, Fortitude, Religion, Mercy, Eloquence and Abundance and at the center Iustitia Immobilis.
