Sara Levy (1761–1854)

Through her connections with the Bach family, and as a result of her skill as a collector of sheet music and handwritten music scores, as well as her role as a patron of the Berlin Singakademie, Sara Levy (1761–1854) played an important role in the musical life of Berlin.
