Poet’s Corner in Westminster Abbey

This photograph, which was made between 1902 and 1906, shows the monument to William Shakespeare (1564–1616) (centre) in Poet’s Corner in Westminster Abbey. The statue of the Bard is on a plinth that resembles an altar.
