Persisch-armenische Frau in Straßenkleidung in Isfahan

The undated picture shows a woman of Persian-Armenian origin in Ishfahan in the usual street clothes. After New Julfa, Ishfahan, Shah Abbas I (1571–1629) had resettled several ten thousand Armenians between 1604–1605. Over the centuries, they have strongly influenced Iran's cultural and economic development.
