Lord George Curzon, (since 1921) 1st Marquess Curzon of Kedleston, British politician, 1886–1898 Conservative M.P., 1891/1892 Under-Secretary of state for India, 1895–1898 Under-Secretary of state for foreign affairs, 1916 Lord President of the Council, 1919–1924 Foreign Secretary. The portrait shows Curzon as Viceroy of India (1898–1905).
