Jewish Minorities in Austria-Hungary in the Early 20th Century

While Jews were a small minority in the Balkans, they did create "confessional spaces" everywhere where they lived in accordance with the prescriptions of their religion. This is a reminder that we must not think of "confessional spaces" as enclosed entities.
