The Turkic language family comprises more than thirty languages spoken by approximately 200 million people. The distribution-area reaches from Eastern Europe all the way to China and Siberia. Since the individual Turkic languages strongly resemble each other, most Turkic peoples can communicate verbally with other Turkic peoples.
