Teegesellschaft der Henriette Catharina von Oranien

In the 17th century, tea and coffee were a luxury that only the aristocracy could afford, and they thus became status symbols. This painting shows Princess Henriette Catherine of Anhalt-Dessau, née Princess of Orange-Nassau (1637–1708), having a tea party with four of her daughters.
