Abbas I.  (1571–1629)

This print shows Shah Abbas I (1571–1629) with moustache, large turban, and an earring. In his hand, he holds a scepter with a half moon. The illustration of the ruler comes from the Atrium Heroicum collection, which was printed in Augsburg in 1602.
