Diese Karikatur zeigt Georg III. von England (1738–1820) mit seiner Gattin Charlotte (1744–1818) und den sechs Töchtern am Teetisch. Die Königin versucht, den skeptischen Töchtern das Trinken ungesüßten Tees mit den folgenden Argumenten schmackhaft zu machen: "You can't think how nice it is without Sugar: - and then consider how much Work you'll save the poor Blackeemoors by leaving off the use of it! - and above all, remember how much expence it will save your poor Papa!" Offensichtlich sind nicht nur moralische, sondern auch wirtschaftliche Bedenken Grund für den sparsamen Umgang mit dem Zucker.
