Kitchener Wants You 1914

This iconic poster from 1914 contains an image of Lord Kitchener (Herbert Kitchener, 1850–1916) pointing at the observer with an outstretched index finger. The call to "Join your country's army!" is reinforced by Kitchener looking at, and addressing the observer directly.
